Le Rêveur - The Dreamer

The Dreamer embodies the spirit of Art Deco with its geometric approach and refined aesthetic. Angular shapes and contrasts in black and white, enhanced by bright red lips, evoke timeless elegance while adding a touch of modernity.
This play of contrasts and rigorously arranged shapes reflects my influence on cubism, a movement often incorporated into Art Deco for its innovative visual language.
The stylized face, built from a mosaic of rectangles and triangles, illustrates my interest in Art Deco, its simplification and the abstraction of forms. The intensity of the details, like the depth of the lines and the closed gaze, give the work a balance between contemplation and visual capture.
By modernizing the codes of Art Deco while preserving its essence, I attempt to establish a dialogue with current trends while paying homage to the golden age of the 1920s-1930s.
